Basic Styles of caps are tall and low:
Tall caps use a stiffener inside the front of the crown. These are favored by NASCAR, farmers, and other groups. Some tall caps are 5 panel instead of the usual 6 panel, which provides a smooth front for decoration. They can have a plastic snapback adjustable closure ($6.00) or a self-fabric closure ($7.00).
Low-riding caps do not have any stiffener in the front. Sometimes the visor is pre-curved. If not, the visor can be easily curved by holding it for a minute or so. All low-riding caps have either an adjustable self-fabric back closure or a leather strap, and are $7.00 before decoration.
